    History

Located at the junction of Hwy #592 and Hwy #518 in the Village of Emsdale, Township of Perry.

Bro. Alan Kirkpatrick wrote a letter to Grand Lodge asking for dispensation to form a lodge at Emsdale on Dec.12, 1894 and the following year 1895 Algonquin Lodge #434 held its first meeting. Our current location was built in 1935 and the first meeting at the “New Masonic Hall” was held on November 26, 1935.  We are grateful to our founding brethren and proud to carry on with the history of the lodge.
